About Lancs Shamanic

Traditional shamanic practice for insight, release, and integration

Ritual work for change, meaning, and personal clarity

Energy & Breathwork for gentle & powerful transformation

What this work is

Lancs Shamanic offers traditional shamanic & energy work adapted for modern life. Sessions may involve ritual, guided inner work, symbolic processes, and practical integration or energy healing, with the aim of supporting personal insight, emotional release, and meaningful change. The focus is on helping people engage consciously with transitions, patterns, and experiences that feel difficult to move through alone.

This work is experiential and reflective rather than belief-based. You do not need to hold spiritual views to benefit from it — only a willingness to engage with the process in a thoughtful and grounded way.

What this work is not

This work is not psychotherapy, counselling, or medical treatment, and it does not replace professional mental health or healthcare services. No diagnoses are given, and no claims are made to treat or cure medical or psychological conditions.

Clients are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support where needed, and shamanic work is best understood as a complementary, non-clinical practice.

My Background

In 2015, I began a focused journey into embodiment following a lifetime of emotional suppression shaped by trauma and significant life challenges. Over the past decade, I have studied and applied a wide range of approaches to support my own healing from CPTSD and PTSD, developing a practical and experiential understanding of what has been most effective in my recovery.

I bring together both a technical and a contemplative/heathen background. I have maintained a regular meditation and ritual practice since the age of 17–18, primarily in Zen and Tibetan meditation traditions, alongside mindfulness and ongoing energy-based and Shamanic practices. A formative awakening experience in 1995 led me initially toward a scientific and engineering path. I completed a degree in Astrophysics in 2000, followed by a career as an Engineer and Technical Project Manager, and I completed an MPhil in Instrumentation & Analytical Science in 2006 and have been working in technology development since then.

My engineering background has strongly informed my approach to researching and working with energetic, shamanic, spiritual, and meditative tools, as well as breathwork techniques. I apply a structured, investigative mindset to these practices, particularly in understanding and addressing the complex symptoms associated with CPTSD.

I have a strong commitment to both learning and sharing. The Blog page includes information about some of the teachers I have studied with, reflections on my personal experiences, and material on stages of healing and approaches I have found valuable. This content is updated regularly.

In 2025–2026, I completed formal training at Lendrick Lodge to qualify as a Shamanic Practitioner, alongside additional training in breathwork, motivational coaching, firewalking and other techniques passed on by my teachers Peggy Dylan, Steven Mulhearne, and Morning Star (Apache Ceremonial Leader).

I continue to develop my skills and understanding, with a particular interest in the energetic dimensions of human experience and how our interaction with them can support physical and emotional wellbeing. I am motivated by a desire to offer grounded, respectful work that integrates traditional practices with contemporary understanding.

I am currently offering a limited number of case study places. Please get in touch if you would like further information.
